We are currently in negotiation process with Spanish based company which is the premier name in the production of lightning rods for lightning protection and prevention system for more than 30 years.
An electric discharge of 100 million volts with 20,000 amps of intensity that can cover 8 miles in 12 thousandth of a second and warm the air up to 30,000 °C (five times the sun temperature) that is lightning, the most destructive atmospheric phenomenon before which the maximum protection that offers the lightning rod becomes essential. Through its latest generation early streamer emission (ESE) system reaches a significant in this time of upward emission (ionization of the air around capture device). So the speed and the efficiency of the electro atmospheric discharge capture increases and consequently the protection area becomes bigger.
The potential of the electrical field formed between cloud and ground increases as the storm approach. It has been designed to accumulate the potential of the electrical field produced when the electro atmosphere discharge (lighting) is near to happening. This energy is released as high voltage impulses while it comes the air particles around the device.
It creates an upward stream emission that captures the lightning. Protection radii calculated according to norm une21-186 : 1996/1M:2009 and NFC17.102 rectificatif Janvier.
